In November 2023 Signature/Radio France will record Levick’s 3rd CD. DISRUPTION PICARESQUE (working title)  will featuring two string quartets performed by the Diotima Quartet and two conducted chamber ensemble pieces performed by Laurent Cuniot and his ensemble, TM+.

Levick is currently working on a piano trio entitled, LOONY TUNES  TERRESTIAL HOMELESS, to be performed by the Trio Celeste and the dancer Storyboard P, who was called by the New Yorker, “The Basquiat of Street Dance”. LOONY TUNES  TERRESTIAL HOMELESS will be performed in April 2023 in Los Angeles as part of the HEAR NOW  Music Festival.

In February 2023 at Culver City’s Wende Museum a panel of artists from different disciplines, convened by Levick and moderated by Joes Segal, will address the topic, “What is the role of Art in today’s World?” or “Is there a role for Art in today’s World”.

In April 2022 Levick’s piano concerto,  “INCLUSION seeing touching breathing” was premiered by Neal Stulberg and the UCLA Philharmonia.

In the fall of 2022 Levick’s piano solo. INSPIRED BY DOUBT, will be premiered by the remarkable Yevgeniy Milyavskiy in Pasadena, CA.

 

Levick, the founder and Artistic Director of the HEAR NOW Music Festival, and his festival colleagues have expanded HEAR NOW 2023 to five concerts. Along with the electroacoustic concert and two chamber music concerts, HEAR NOW will present an evening  of music by William Kraft (1923-2022) and an evening of interdisciplinary pieces.
